Appropriate Funeral Attire

♥Many girls don't know what is appropriate for a funeral. For starters, you don't need to wear all black. If you don't have anything black to wear you can go with another neutral/toned down color such as navy, browns, & the second most common after black, gray. You can even bust out your little black dress as long as it's not too short. Put some tights on then throw on a cardigan, sweater, crop top, coat, or any other cover-up of your choice and/or a scarf over it.♥

The following outfits are other good options for either visitations, rosaries/ funeral mass, or the funeral (burial).

Final Tips:
Wear your waterproof mascara
Bring tissues
Keep your makeup neutral
and a close friend said to me

"WE NEED TO BE STRONG FOR THOSE WHO ARE HURTING THE MOST"

so those are some word to remember if we are there to be supportive to the deceased's family and friends.

  1. Thank you so much for doing this article. I am facing my first ever funeral/celebration of life service tomorrow and was at a loss as to what to wear, most especially since my Grandpa was not religious or conventional. I now feel as if I can dress like I normally would but just a bit more subdued for this occasion. Many thanks again.
